Almond Chicken with Mushroom recipe
Try this almond chicken with mushroom recipe....a must try!

Mushroom Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup Halved almonds
  • Oil
  • Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Sherry
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 pound Boneless chicken breast - cubed
  • 2 teaspoons White wine
  • 1/2 Egg white
  • Pepper
  • 1/4 pound Chinese pea pods
  • 2 Water chestnuts; sliced
  • 1/4 cup Thinly sliced bamboo shoots
  • 24 Fresh button mushrooms -OR- Canned button mushrooms
MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Fry almonds in oil until golden. Drain and set aside. Blend 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1 teaspoon water. Add sherry, oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon water, 1/2 teaspoon salt and sugar. Mix and set aside. Mix chicken, wine, egg white and 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat 5 tablespoons oil in wok or skillet. Add chicken and stir-fry until no longer pink. Add pea pods, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and mushrooms. Stir-fry 3 minutes. Stir sherry mixture and add to wok. Cook, stirring, 1 minute. Turn out onto platter and top with fried almonds. The almond chicken mushroom recipe is ready...great taste !

MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INGREDIENTS
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 bunch of scallions, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 c. celery, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 container of snow pea pods, strings removed
  • 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
First of all combine chicken with wine and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Set aside. And then stir fry scallions and celery in oil for 1 minute. Set aside. Next is to stir fry pea pods 2 minutes and set aside. Stir fry mushrooms and water chestnuts 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside. Stir fry the chicken and wine 2 to 3 minutes or until done. Combine chicken and vegetables in a wok. Stir together the broth, cornstarch mixture and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Slowly add to chicken and vegetables in the wok and heat until thick and clear. Mushroom Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 (4-oz. size) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 thick slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

First of all preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
And then pour melted butter and minced garlic in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place two slices of bacon on top of each piece of chicken. . Next is to put mushrooms on top of the chicken and bacon.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in the middle. Remove baking dish from the oven and put cheddar cheese on top of the chicken. Return baking dish to the oven and cook for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
Remove chicken and place on a platter. Pour juices from baking dish into small saucepan and whisk together with cream over low heat until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken and serve warm. This bacon mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve...amazing !Enjoy it !

Try this baked mushroom chicken recipe...its recommended..!

Mushroom Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 whole (2 1/2 lbs) broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
Mushroom Chicken Recipe Instructions:

Melt butter in 13x9" baking pan. Stir in thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then swish in butter (both sides), until coated. Arrange them in a baking dish.
Bake at 400F until browned, about 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F, turn over chicken pieces, and add mushrooms and wine. Cover dish with foil and continue baking about 30 minutes longer. This great baked mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve .....nice taste !

CHICKEN TETRAZZINI MUSHROOM


MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INGREDIENT:
  • 1 lb. pasta, cooked
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 4 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. light cream
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 4 c. diced chicken, cooked
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:
Cook and drain pasta according to package directions. Slice the mushrooms 1/8 of an inch thick and sauté in 2-3 tablespoons of the butter, along with sliced onion, and chopped garlic until lightly browned. Combine the remaining butter with flour and add chicken broth, stirring over low heat until thickened. Add the cream, salt, pepper, sherry, and garlic powder.
Divide the sauce in half. And one half of the chicken meat, and half of the mushrooms and cooked pasta. Butter a casserole dish and turn the pasta mixture into the casserole leaving a well in the center of the pasta.Turn remaining cooked chicken half into the center of the pasta mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese, and bake uncovered at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.

Optional: may also top with butter to breadcrumbs and grated cheddar or American cheese.

CHICKEN GRUYERE WITH SAUTEED MUSHROOMS

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tsp. all-purpose flour
  • Dash each salt & pepper
  • 1 skinned & boned chicken breast (3 oz. pounded to 1/4" thickness)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. butter, divided
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 oz. Gruyere cheese, shredded (can use Swiss)

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge chicken, coating all sides. In small nonstick skillet heat 1 teaspoon butter over medium heat until bubbly and hot. Add chicken and cook, turning once until golden brown on both sides. Remove and put chicken in a small flame - proof baking
dish; set aside and keep warm.
In same skillet heat remaining 1/2 teaspoon butter and saute mushrooms until lightly browned. Top chicken with mushrooms - then sprinkle with cheese. Broil for a few minutes until cheese melts. The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve....Enjoy the mushroom chicken.! Bon apetit !

ITALIAN CHICKEN & MUSHROOM CASSEROLE ... a great mushroom chicken recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 whole chicken breasts, cut in half
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 lg. can whole tomatoes & liquid
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves
  • 1/3 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 tsp. crushed thyme leaves
  • 4 med. zucchini (sliced 1/2" thick)
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
INSTRUCTIONS
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. Heat oil in large skillet. Brown chicken on both sides. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Remove chicken to large baking dish. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings. To drippings add onion and garlic.
Saute until tender.
Combine cornstarch with 1/4 cup of wine. Stir into skillet. Add tomatoes and liquid. Cook and stir until thick, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in salt, bay leaf, pepper, thyme and crushed marjoram. Add
zucchini. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 3 minutes. Pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.Meanwhile, rinse, pat dry and slice mushrooms. Add mushrooms and
remaining wine to casserole. Baste with hot liquid, cover and bake until chicken is fork tender, about 20 minutes. Juice may be thickened if you wish. Serve with rice or noodles (preferred). The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve,...nice one ! Enjoy !

INGREDIENTS
  • Non-stick cooking spray (low sodium)
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, tenderized until flat
  • 9 slices Armour Star sliced dried beef (95% fat free)
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
  • 6 fresh mushrooms, sliced (approx. 2 c.)
  • 1 can Healthy Request cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 3/4 c. plain nonfat yogurt
  • Toothpicks

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Take a 9 inch square baking dish and coat with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Place dried beef on the bottom of the dish, making sure bottom of the dish is covered.
3. Mix cooked rice and spices together in medium mixing bowl.
4. Spread about 2 tablespoons of rice mixture onto each chicken piece, pulling up the sides, holding the rice as stuffing, and secure with toothpicks. (Save remaining rice mixture to serve with the finished chicken dish.) Place chicken on top of dried beef.
5. Place sliced mushrooms around chicken.
6. Mix and spoon soup and yogurt over chicken and mushrooms.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until chicken is completely cooked. Serves 4.
Hint: Vegetable rice pilaf adds a different tasty stuffing option.

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 chicken breasts, boned & skinned
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
  • 2 tbsp. dry sherry
  • Flour
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 2 packets chicken flavored broth mix
  • 1/2 lb. fresh snow peas
  • 1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts

INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl, combine egg whites, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper and sherry and mix until smooth. Dredge chicken in flour; shake off excess and dip chicken into batter.

Saute chicken in hot oil (do not let pieces touch), for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons of oil and saute mushrooms for approximately 5 minutes. Remove mushrooms. Add 1/4 cup of water to oil drippings and stir to loosen particles from the bottom of skillet. Combine remaining cup of water with one tablespoon cornstarch and broth. Add to skillet and bring to boil. Add snow

  • 4 tbsp. lemon juice

  • 3 c. heavy cream
  • 4 c. tomato sauce
  • 3 shallots, cleaned & diced
  • 1/8 c. olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Flour to cover

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook pasta as directed.

INGREDIENTS
CREPES:
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
INSTRUCTIONS
Lightly grease 7" or 8" skillet. Heat (over medium heat) until butter bubbles. Beat all ingredients together until smooth. Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons batter into pan for each crepe. Cook both sides until golden brown, rotate pan so batter covers pan. Crepes can be stacked between wax paper. Cover to keep moist.

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. cut up cooked chicken
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar pimiento
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix milk, chicken broth, flour, salt, pepper and butter in 2 quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute. Stir in chicken, mushrooms and pimientos, which have been drained and chopped. Heat through. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread about 1/4 cup chicken mixture down center of each crepe; roll up. Place seam side down in ungreased oblong pan, 13"x9"x2". Pour remaining chicken mixture over crepes. Bake until
hot, 15 to 20 minutes.
Crepes can be made ahead and kept in refrigerator up to 2 days. Wrap stacked, cooled, crepes in aluminum foil. To reheat: Place wrapped stacks in 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes.

Mushroom Chicken INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 gal. chicken stock and meat from chicken legs
  • 1/2 c. (8 tbsp.) butter
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. sherry
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. chopped garlic
  • Sliced wild mushrooms in season (i.e. shitakes, chanterelles, morels)
  • A few domestic mushrooms
  • 1 c. sliced leeks (optional)
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. chopped thyme
  • 1 pt. heavy cream (optional)

Mushroom Chicken Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter in a stock pot, add flour and whisk to form a roux. Cook 5 minutes on low to medium heat. Slowly whisk in chicken stock. Simmer 10 minutes, stir in sherry (this is called a chicken veloute). In a separate pan, saute garlic leeks and mushrooms in fortified butter (oil and butter). NOTE WELL: Do not stir mushrooms until they are slightly browned on first side. Shake pan and saute until browned all around. Drain and add with cooked chicken meat to the creamed
soup. Season to taste and add the chopped parsley last. (Cream may be added to produce a richer soup). The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve..nice ! Enjoy it !

CHICKEN BREASTS WITH MUSHROOMS AND MARSALA

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 (5 oz.) boneless, skinned chicken breast halves
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil (safflower is lower)
  • 6 oz. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 c. Marsala wine
  • 1/4 c. beef broth
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch

INSTRUCTONS
Combine flour, salt and pepper on piece of waxed paper. Dredge chicken in flour mixture to coat well. Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter and oil in large, heavy skillet. Add chicken and brown on both sides in skillet over moderate heat. Drain chicken on paper toweling.

Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to skillet. Add mushroom and saute over moderately high heat 3 minutes. Add Marsala wine. Scrape up brown bits from bottom of skillet. Remove from heat.
Place chicken in microwave-safe 8x12x2 inch baking dish with thickest parts toward outside. Pour mushroom-wine mixture over all. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave at 100% power 6 to 8 minutes until chicken is tender, rotating casserole 180 degrees at high time. Remove chicken
and mushrooms with slotted spoon to bowl. Keep warm. Whisk together the broth and the cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the baking dish liquid.

Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens and boils, whisking at half time. Return chicken and mushrooms to baking dish. Spoon sauce over top. The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve with noodles...nice ! Enjoy it !

A nice mushroom chicken recipe to try !
INGREDIENTS
  • chicken parts or a whole chicken cut up
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 can diced stew tomatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • seasoning to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
In a large pot, put in oil, add onions and garlic, sauté them until tender, Salt and pepper chicken then put chicken parts into pot and let them cook until they are browned. Add tomatoes, and both cans of soup, stir together until well mixed then add the water, stir again until well mixed.

Let simmer for about 1/2 hour stirring occasionally, it will start to thicken, if it is too thick just add a little more water. Add seasoning to taste and allow to cook for another 1/2 hour or until it
is to your preferred thickness. Serve over rice. This dish is great with a salad and hot buttered bread. The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve....Enjoy it !

CHICKEN IN MUSHROOM SAUCE

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • seasonings of your choice
  • rice or pasta

INSTRUCTIONS
In a skillet, saute chicken with onion and garlic until tender. Add desired seasonings during cooking (season salt, sage or Bell's Seasoning, garlic, and onion powder work well).
When chicken is done, add soup and water.
Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes and serve over rice, noodles or other pasta, if desired. The mushroom chicken recipe is ready...enjoy it !
