CHICKEN WITH MUSHROOMS - MOO GOO GAI PAN


MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INGREDIENTS
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 bunch of scallions, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 c. celery, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 container of snow pea pods, strings removed
  • 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
First of all combine chicken with wine and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Set aside. And then stir fry scallions and celery in oil for 1 minute. Set aside. Next is to stir fry pea pods 2 minutes and set aside. Stir fry mushrooms and water chestnuts 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside. Stir fry the chicken and wine 2 to 3 minutes or until done. Combine chicken and vegetables in a wok. Stir together the broth, cornstarch mixture and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Slowly add to chicken and vegetables in the wok and heat until thick and clear. Another great mushroom chicken recipe to try !

Mushroom Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 (4-oz. size) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 thick slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

First of all preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
And then pour melted butter and minced garlic in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place two slices of bacon on top of each piece of chicken. . Next is to put mushrooms on top of the chicken and bacon.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in the middle. Remove baking dish from the oven and put cheddar cheese on top of the chicken. Return baking dish to the oven and cook for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
Remove chicken and place on a platter. Pour juices from baking dish into small saucepan and whisk together with cream over low heat until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken and serve warm. This bacon mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve...amazing !Enjoy it !

Try this baked mushroom chicken recipe...its recommended..!

Mushroom Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 whole (2 1/2 lbs) broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
Mushroom Chicken Recipe Instructions:

Melt butter in 13x9" baking pan. Stir in thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then swish in butter (both sides), until coated. Arrange them in a baking dish.
Bake at 400F until browned, about 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F, turn over chicken pieces, and add mushrooms and wine. Cover dish with foil and continue baking about 30 minutes longer. This great baked mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve .....nice taste !

CHICKEN TETRAZZINI MUSHROOM


MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INGREDIENT:
  • 1 lb. pasta, cooked
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 4 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. light cream
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 4 c. diced chicken, cooked
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
MUSHROOM CHICKEN RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:
Cook and drain pasta according to package directions. Slice the mushrooms 1/8 of an inch thick and sauté in 2-3 tablespoons of the butter, along with sliced onion, and chopped garlic until lightly browned. Combine the remaining butter with flour and add chicken broth, stirring over low heat until thickened. Add the cream, salt, pepper, sherry, and garlic powder.
Divide the sauce in half. And one half of the chicken meat, and half of the mushrooms and cooked pasta. Butter a casserole dish and turn the pasta mixture into the casserole leaving a well in the center of the pasta.Turn remaining cooked chicken half into the center of the pasta mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese, and bake uncovered at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.

Optional: may also top with butter to breadcrumbs and grated cheddar or American cheese.

CHICKEN GRUYERE WITH SAUTEED MUSHROOMS

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tsp. all-purpose flour
  • Dash each salt & pepper
  • 1 skinned & boned chicken breast (3 oz. pounded to 1/4" thickness)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. butter, divided
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 oz. Gruyere cheese, shredded (can use Swiss)

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge chicken, coating all sides. In small nonstick skillet heat 1 teaspoon butter over medium heat until bubbly and hot. Add chicken and cook, turning once until golden brown on both sides. Remove and put chicken in a small flame - proof baking
dish; set aside and keep warm.
In same skillet heat remaining 1/2 teaspoon butter and saute mushrooms until lightly browned. Top chicken with mushrooms - then sprinkle with cheese. Broil for a few minutes until cheese melts. The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve....Enjoy the mushroom chicken.! Bon apetit !

ITALIAN CHICKEN & MUSHROOM CASSEROLE

ITALIAN CHICKEN & MUSHROOM CASSEROLE ... a great mushroom chicken recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 whole chicken breasts, cut in half
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 lg. can whole tomatoes & liquid
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves
  • 1/3 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 tsp. crushed thyme leaves
  • 4 med. zucchini (sliced 1/2" thick)
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
INSTRUCTIONS
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. Heat oil in large skillet. Brown chicken on both sides. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Remove chicken to large baking dish. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings. To drippings add onion and garlic.
Saute until tender.
Combine cornstarch with 1/4 cup of wine. Stir into skillet. Add tomatoes and liquid. Cook and stir until thick, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in salt, bay leaf, pepper, thyme and crushed marjoram. Add
zucchini. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 3 minutes. Pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.Meanwhile, rinse, pat dry and slice mushrooms. Add mushrooms and
remaining wine to casserole. Baste with hot liquid, cover and bake until chicken is fork tender, about 20 minutes. Juice may be thickened if you wish. Serve with rice or noodles (preferred). The mushroom chicken recipe is ready to serve,...nice one ! Enjoy !
